@simply.magical.living ⭐️Peach Pit Tincture A beautiful Peach medicine that is so useful for: -Soothing any hotness or irritation in the body -As a nervine to help calm and de stress -Soothes insect bites/stings on the skin -Aids in hormonal changes and issues -Helps immensely as a anti nausea medicine for stomach upsets as well as Morning Sickness 🍑I store mine for approximately 4- 6 weeks, then strain out the pits, pour the liquid into dark coloured glass bottles and store in a dark place. Peach is an ancient beautiful herbal medicine and this tincture should be used in small amounts as it is quite strong. Please always make sure to double check with a doctor before using this if you are unsure. . . . . #selfsufficient #homestead #foodsecurity #homecooked #organicfood #terracedgardens #harvest #growyourown #homegrown #organicgarden #homegrownveggies #gardening #mygarden #permeculture #seedsaving #selfsufficiency #sustainableliving #foodforest #foodgardening #herbgardening #athomegarden #homegardening #kitchengarden #learntogrow #healingfoods #foodismedicine #foraging #herbalism #plantmedicines #naturemedicine #witchtok ♬ cottagecore - Sophiya Sweet

@deeprootsherbschool Yep, peach leaves are medicinal, did you know? I luuuurve them. 🥰 I use peach leaves in hot dry conditions. 🍑🌿They contain small amounts of cyanogenic glycosides, which are also found in Wild Cherry; but peach is specifically indicated for nausea, getting overheated, and in pregnancy for the irritability, restless leg, and discomfort that so often accompanies the increased metabolic rate of pregnant folks. I relied on it in my own pregnancy often. I also highly recommend cold, extracted peach-leaf tea on a hot summer day. 🤤There’s nothing more refreshing. Of course peach trees are notoriously, pesticide-laden 💀 so be very, very, aware as to where you are harvesting. ##foraging##herbalmedicine##peach#deeprootsherbschool #medicinemaking #medicinemaking ♬ original sound - deeprootsherbschool
